Chris Kirschner, AIA, obtained his Architecture degree from The University of Notre Dame, where he spent a year in Rome, Italy studying urban design and classical architecture. He has 15 years experience in providing a wide range of architecture services encompassing arenas (hospitality & interior renovations), commercial, hospitality, multi-family, as well as custom and semi-custom single family residences. Chris is currently certified to practice architecture in multiple states, NCARB registered, LEED Accredited with the US Green Building Council and the principal partner of BDG Architects. |
Gregg Holdsworth, AIA, LEED AP - Partner
Gregg Holdsworth, AIA, CSI holds his Architecture degree from The University of Notre Dame, where he spent a year in Rome, Italy studying urban design and classical architecture. He has been practicing architecture for 15 years. Gregg began his career in New York, becoming head of the residential division prior to relocating to the Bay Area in 1999. He is currently certified to practice in the state of Florida and New York and a partner of BDG Architects. |
Stephanie Ferrell, FAIA - Historic Preservation Architect
Stephanie Ferrell’s career in historic preservation architecture spans over 30 years. Ferrell was the director of the Historic Tampa/Hillsborough County Preservation Board, Florida Department of State from 1980 to 1997. Her current focus is on historic rehabilitation, historically compatible design, and the adaptive use of historic properties. Her clients have included non-profit organizations, such as the National Trust Community Investment Corporation, state and local governments, and private clients - with types of work undertaken ranging from architectural design and construction documents, to grant writing and administration to preservation planning, adaptive use studies and redevelopment feasibility analysis. She also specializes in design review, historic resource surveys, National Register proposals, preservation ordinance review and consultation to developers and to other architects. She has authored numerous successful grant applications and articles, and has worked on many grant-funded preservation projects. Ms. Ferrell received her 5-year professional Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Florida in 1972.
Ms. Ferrell has been a Florida Licensed Architect since 1976 (License # 0007252) and was elected to the Institute of Architects College of Fellows in 1995. |
Michael P. Delman
Michael P. “Mike” Delman is currently serving as project manager for the $160 million, 270,000 square foot, US Central Command, Joint Intelligence-Operations Center, located at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. The Center is a new Defense Intelligence Agency Facility for 1300 people and will be ready to occupy in June 2009.
Mike, a retired USAF Colonel, is a dynamic manager with experience at the senior director level. He has over 25 years proven success in leading large-scale operations support, logistics, project management and customer relations functions. Among Mike’s many qualifications are his problem-solving capabilities and ability to respond effectively under pressure situations with integrity and teamwork. He is an outstanding writer and speaker.
His accomplishments include leveraging $117 million to improve quality of life programs that transformed food and lodging logistics, fitness programs and recreation services support, and overseeing $130 million in construction projects that dramatically improved 469 facilities and corresponding infrastructure.
Mike’s military career culminated as the Mission Support Group Commander at Ramstein Air Base, Germany during which his division of 2,500 people supported more than 40,000 US citizens serving overseas. Prior to that tour, Mike served three years as a Special Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Defense. He was also on the staff of The Air Force Inspector General; was a Military Assistant to the Air Force Secretary for Manpower, Installations and Logistics; and commanded both Military Personnel and Services Squadrons.
Mike has a Master’s Degree in International Relations. He is cleared to the Top Secret, SCI level. His honors include the Defense Superior Service Commendation, 9 Meritorious Service/Commendation awards and 9 citations for Unit Excellence

Jeffery Schalk, CBC
Jeffrey graduated from the University of West Florida where he studied business management. Jeffrey has over nine years of management experience, including project management, operations management, and construction management. He gained construction experience as a construction manager supervising the construction of single family and multi-family homes. In 2005 Jeffrey became a Florida Certified Building Contractor. His experience has since grown to include commercial construction and construction administration. Jeffrey has worked closely with colleagues on LEED projects and is working toward becoming LEED Accredited. |
